Kiù (2009 - today)
I kiù (dall’inglese queue = coda) sono creature liminali, dalla grande testa antropomorfa. I kiù rappresentano l’identità dell’essere in attesa.
La coda è uno dimensione umano temporale dove si entra in uno stato di stand-by sociale la cui durata è indipendente da noi e nel cui spazio prendono vita visioni e relazioni sospese tra realtà e artificio.
In coda ognuno è solo un elemento della stessa e come tale uguale a chiunque altro. In coda ognuno fa la stessa cosa, aspetta...così come nella vita.
Il progetto Kiù consta di una produzione di lavori multidisciplinari (foto, perfomance, video, sculture, installazioni, quadri) ognuno dei quali indaga diversi aspetti della coda e delle sue manifestazioni.
The kiù (from queue) are liminal creatures, with big antrhopomorphic
heads. The kiù represent the identity of lying in wait.
Being in a queue is a human temporary dimension, where we enter into
a social stand-by for a length of time that does not depend on us and
where visions and relations come to live pending between reality and artifice.
In queue we are all elements of the queue and as such all identical.
In queue everybody does the same, wait ..ust like in life.
The Kiù project demands a production of multidisciplinary works (pictures,
videos, sculptures, installations, paintings) each of them looking
into various aspects of the queue and its manifestations
